OpcPipe is an open protocol for small and simple OPC compatible communication. It has less functionality as OPC UA, but it does not have the big amount of functionality mostly which is not needed. The mail goal of OpcPipe is the communication which is needed to exchange data with PLC.
OpcPipe is as a network protocol fully event driven.
